General Information: MDP's
Though pedagogy will vary with programs, generally it will consist of lectures, Case studies, business games, role-plays and group exercises, computer games, presentations by participants and discussions
On successful completion of the program, the Institute will issue a certificate of participation to all the participations.
For program wise fee, please refer to the MDP calendar.
The registration form duly filled in along with the program fee should reach us at least 10 days before the date of commencement of the program. A scanned copy of the duly filled in registration form should also be sent over email. In case of subsequent withdrawal or cancellation of registration, no refund of fee will be allowed. However, substitute(s) may be permitted with prior intimation.

*Payment made to RGIPT is exempted from income tax deductions, so you are requested not to deduct income tax at your end.
Service tax is applicable on our MDP fees as per relevant Notification(s) and/or Directive(s) issued by the Government of India, and amended from time to time. Fees quoted are exclusive of Service Tax, which will be charged extra, as applicable.
For almost all programs, except where specifically mentioned, the program venue is Department of Management Studies,Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology,2nd Floor, Tower C, OIDB Bhawan, NOIDA.
All programs are non-residential. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements related to travel and accommodation.
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) hasbeen set up through an Act of Parliament (RGIPT Act 54/2007) by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, as an “Institute of National Importance” along the lines of IITs. The institute is co-promoted as an energy domain specific institute by six leading PSUs – ONGC Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Oil India Limited, GAIL (India) Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in association with the Oil Industry Development Board.
The institute has been envisaged to create learning aspirations among the youth of the country towards the oil and gas sector and the energy sectors in general. The institute is to serve as a fountainhead for nurturing of world class human capital capable of being the future leaders of technology and innovation, not only in India but also abroad. This is to be achieved through world class education, research and consultancy for the entire hydrocarbon value chain.
The institute has MoUs / alliances with several national and international institutes / universities for academic collaboration and cooperation.
